# Compare buying a domain outright with lease-to-own

After finding a name, you can ask your connected assistant how the payment
options compare. Namegarage’s new `get_purchase_options` MCP tool returns
the current outright price and the domain’s standard zero-down lease plans.

For each lease term, your assistant can show the monthly payment, final
payment, total cost, and extra cost versus buying outright. The final payment
can differ from the regular monthly amount because it includes the rounding
remainder. A cash-only weekly deal can reduce the outright price while leaving
the lease principal unchanged; the tool reports both amounts.

The tool only reads published options. It cannot reserve a name, start
checkout, or send a message. Follow the returned domain-page link to review
