# A consistent summary for every policy

Our [Privacy Policy](/privacy/), [Terms of Sale](/terms/),
[SMS Terms](/sms/), and [Vulnerability Disclosure Policy](/security/)
now start with an **AI summary**: a short set of bullets that helps you
find the main rules, choices, and exceptions before reading the full document.

These AI-written reading aids use a shared format and are prepared before
publication. The full policy text remains authoritative. The new versions
replace the old introductory callouts with separate summaries; their detailed
policy sections are unchanged. Earlier versions keep their original wording
and source fingerprints in the version history.

We have also refreshed the summaries on every version comparison. Each policy
summary and comparison summary carries a generation record in the page markup,
including the model, reasoning effort, date, and fingerprints of the source
text and summary. That record lets us check that a reading aid still matches
the documents it describes.
