# Less waiting when browsing domains

We’ve reduced the work needed to load Namegarage. Page styles are smaller, the
homepage gives visible content priority over the full search catalog, and
domain pages avoid unnecessary server reads.

Availability still gets checked when you open a domain page. The performance
changes preserve the checks that keep reserved names out of new purchases.

Our [Trust center](/trust/#performance) shows both lab tests and dated
real-visitor results. Mobile loading still needs improvement in the saved
28-day report; a new release takes time to appear in those measurements.

We’ve also shortened the path for HTTP domain visits: they now redirect
straight to the final HTTPS domain page, avoiding an intermediate connection
on the domain being visited. Existing HTTPS visits keep their direct redirect.
