# Faster, lighter, and readable without JavaScript

A sales site should cost the visitor nothing but attention. This month's
work was about lowering the bill.

**Every name, no JavaScript required.** The catalog is now fully browsable
as plain HTML pages, and every domain page renders complete without a single
script running. Crawlers, agents, text browsers, and people on hostile
networks all get the real content, not a loading spinner.

**Scripts load when used, not when possible.** The heavyweight vendor
bundles — payment widgets, phone-number validation, QR rendering — now load
at the moment a feature needs them, not on page open. Reading a listing
costs you none of them.

**No more layout shift.** The catalog grid reserves its space before data
arrives, so the page no longer jumps under your cursor while it loads.

**Structured data for the machines.** Priced listings carry schema.org
`Product` markup, so search engines can show the price before the click.

**An accessibility gate on every deploy.** Every page type is scanned with
IBM Equal Access in CI, and a violation fails the build. Accessibility
regressions do not reach the site because they cannot.

None of these are features you click. All of them are reasons the site
feels instant, and works for every visitor the internet sends us.
