# More ways to discover the public catalog

The public catalog now has an [ARD manifest](/.well-known/ard.json) that points
to its OpenAPI description and MCP server card. The
[AI Catalog compatibility URL](/.well-known/ai-catalog.json) serves the same
metadata. Both describe the existing read-only interfaces, which need no
account or API key.

Clients that probe [the shorter MCP card URL](/.well-known/mcp.json) receive
the same card as the canonical discovery path. The [quickstart](/docs/quickstart)
is available as HTML and [Markdown](/docs/quickstart.md).

The npm names `namegarage` and `namegarage-sdk` are now official compatibility
packages. Version 0.1.0 of each forwards to `@namegarage/sdk@0.1.0`. Use the
scoped package for new projects; its runtime remains dependency-free.
The aliases and SDK share the public
[source repository](https://github.com/namegarage/sdk) and MIT license.

Discovery does not authorize purchases or account access. These interfaces
read public listings, and the normal request limits still apply.
