Blog comments privacy notice
Version 1.0 · . Read the current notice.
What you submit
The comment form collects the display name and comment you type, the post you are commenting on, a random submission identifier, and the time. It does not ask for an email address or create an account. Use a display name that you are comfortable making public, and leave private information out of your comment.
Review and publication
Your comment stays private until the owner approves it. The owner reads pending comments in a private Telegram chat and can approve, reject, or remove them. After approval, your display name, comment, submission date, and whether the comment came from the author appear publicly under the post. Reader names are not verified. A comment does not subscribe you to email or text messages.
Security and providers
Cloudflare hosts the site and comment database and checks submissions with Turnstile. Cloudflare processes connection information, including your IP address, for hosting and security. Our comment limits store a keyed hash of the connecting IP address instead of the raw address. Scheduled cleanup removes these counters once their windows are 48 hours old. They are not used for advertising or to measure your reading.
We send your submitted display name and comment to Telegram for the owner's review. Telegram handles that copy under its own privacy policy. Comments, submission identifiers, and network identifiers are never sent to ElevenLabs. Optional AI narration sends the published article text to ElevenLabs during an explicit generation step. Playing saved narration sends a request to this site and Cloudflare; it does not send a playback request to ElevenLabs.
How long comments stay
Pending comments cannot be approved after 30 days; scheduled cleanup clears their display names and text. Rejecting or removing a comment also clears its display name and text from the comment database. A minimal record of the submission and moderation decision remains to prevent duplicate submissions and record the owner's action. Approved comments stay until removed. Previously sent Telegram messages and other provider or backup copies are separate; clearing a database row does not erase those copies or copies other people made while a comment was public.
